Summer 2015

Fundraising Concert at St Teilo’s Church with Sororitas Female Voice Choir

On Saturday, Cardiff Male Choir joined forces with Sororitas Female Voice Choir and entertained a full church at their first Summer concert. Both choirs sang songs from musicals, light classics and popular standards including ‘Do You Hear the People Sing’, ‘Softly As I Leave You’, ‘Luck Be A Lady’ (Cardiff Male Choir), ‘Penny Lane’, ‘Good Morning Baltimore’ and ‘Singing in the Rain’ (Sororitas).

Both choirs are very grateful to St Teilo’s Church, who were able to host the event. Money raised from the concert will enable the choirs to buy new music. Visit our ‘Songs’ page for videos of the event.

Cardiff Male Choir and Driffield Male Voice Choir Join Forces

Cardiff Male Choir travelled to Hull at the end of May, to help Driffield Male Voice choir raise funds for two wonderful charities: Cancer Research UK and PHASE Worldwide (Practical Help Achieving Self-Empowerment). PHASE has currently been working with those affected by the dreadful earthquakes in Nepal.

The concert was a HUGE success, and raised over £3000 for the two charities.

The choir were delighted to perform with Driffield Male Voice Choir, and hope they will join us in Cardiff very soon.
